We have a fairly unique medical industry in South Africa, one which works better than some people would imagine. The purpose of this blog is to discuss some of the trends, problems and solutions available to patients, their families, practitioners and anyone with an interest in Medical issues in a South African (and uniquely African context). I am not a trained medical professional, but I do have an interest a medical business and significant exposure to some aspects of the industry. However, being such a large and varied industry, I defer to the real subject matter experts in every field.
